Turn Siege Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Turn Siege ("the game", "we") is a single-player mobile game published by Guillermo Rodríguez Delgado. This policy explains what data the game handles. It is written to serve as the privacy-policy URL required by the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Note: this policy describes the game with ads and analytics enabled (Google AdMob + Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics), which is what a store build now ships. The "Last updated" date and the store data-safety declarations are kept in sync with what a given release actually contains.

Summary

Turn Siege has no user accounts and no login. It stores your progress locally on your device. When ads and analytics are enabled, it uses Google AdMob and Firebase, which collect limited data as described below to serve ads and to keep the game stable.

Data stored on your device

Your progress is saved locally in a single file (save.json) inside the app's private storage sandbox: scrap balance and lifetime totals, owned weapons and levels, equipped loadout, daily-streak counters and last day played, tutorial flag, and best-round record. This never leaves your device and is removed when you uninstall the game or clear its data.

Data collected by third-party services

When enabled, the game includes these Google SDKs:

  • Google AdMob (ads). Serves rewarded and interstitial ads. AdMob may collect a device identifier, advertising data, product interactions, approximate location (for example, inferred from an IP address), crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads, perform analytics, and limit fraud. Device identifiers may be used for tracking where the required consent and iOS permission have been granted. Some advertising, interaction, approximate-location, and device-identifier data may be linked to the same device or advertising identifier. This does not give Turn Siege your name or contact details. Governed by Google's policies: policies.google.com/privacy and support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543.
  • Firebase Analytics (usage). Collects pseudonymous app-usage events (e.g. runs played, screens viewed) and an app-instance identifier to help us understand aggregate gameplay. No name, email, or contact data.
  • Firebase Crashlytics (stability). Collects crash reports — stack traces and device/OS state at the time of a crash — so we can fix problems. No personal profile data.

We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, photos, contacts, or payment information. The game has no user account or in-app purchases. Third-party SDK data can be associated with a device or advertising identifier even though it is not associated with a Turn Siege account.

Consent and your choices

  • On first run (where required by law), the game shows a consent form (Google UMP) covering ad data use. On iOS it may also show Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Your choices determine whether tracking and personalised advertising are permitted; ads may still be non-personalized when they are not.
  • Where that consent form applies, you can change your answer at any time from Settings → AD PRIVACY inside the game.
  • The game does not request ads or enable Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics until consent status is resolved. Google UMP may process limited technical data needed to determine and present the consent choices.
  • You can limit tracking in your device privacy settings at any time.

Children's privacy

The game is suitable for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age where consent is required. Where an all-ages audience is declared, ad serving is configured accordingly (e.g. non-personalized). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Data sharing and retention

Data collected by AdMob and Firebase is processed by Google as described in its policies. We do not sell your data. Analytics and crash data are retained per Google's default retention settings; local save data persists on your device until you remove it.

Third-party components

The game is built with the Godot Engine and bundles open-source fonts. Data handling by the SDKs above is described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

Updates are published at the same location with a revised "Last updated" date.
